EigenLayer's technical complexities remain a barrier for many users. To simplify the access to EigenLayer's benefits, restaking protocols like , , and , have come to the fore.

How do they work?

  1. Users stake their LST or ETH to restaking platforms and receive Restaking Tokens (RST) tokens, indicating fractional ownership of the underlying assets.

  2. The contracts of the restaking protocol distribute the deposited tokens to different node operators.

  3. Rewards accrue from the various services to the protocol contracts. The price of the RST token assumes the underlying price of the various rewards and staked tokens.
